I have a 01 gsr w/ i/h/e, test pipe, skunk2 im and i'm looking at getting toda b cams. Anyone w/ these cams please tell me how rough the idle is. Thanks.

 

Depends how you tune it. Seriously, where you have the cam gears set can affect idle quality, fuel mix can do the same...

Mine has a little burble, pretty nice idle, not very rough...although I did raise the idle to 950rpm, as the lower idle had a much rougher idle...cam gears currently at +3.5IN, +1EX.

I have known Austin for a while now and have rode in his car numerous times before the Mods and after.

My Point?? I just wanted to say that today for the first time I realized where all his money went.

In a nutshell, don't expect a near stock idle without a standalone. I tried many, many settings and never had an idle that was comfortable in traffic. The Fields and a chipped ecu just don't seem to cut it I plan on going Hondata soon after the Teg is back in action.
