ok i bought a used JRSC off a friend and its missing the resistor wire that connects to the ta sensor....now , i have the SC on a d16y8 in my 90' CRX Si using the stock crx ECU,harness,ect......my question is do i need the resistor wire for the crx cus i'm using the crx harness and ecu or do i need the one for the 00' Civic Si cus i'm using the d16y8? i was thinkin it would be the crx resistor cus of the ecu and harness.....if ne of u know plz post it cus i need to know which one to order....TIA!!!

 

If by TA you mean 'throttle agle', then it really shouldnt matter. Both sensors give identical signals. Just get whatever one is cheaper

 

I think it's the air temperature sensor

also, if anyone has pictures of this setup, can you please post it.

Go to Radio Shack. Buy a package of 15k Ohm 1/4 watt resistors. It's part number 271-1337. You just need to solder one in one of the two wires on the air temp sensor harness, it doesn't matter which one.
I'm running an used JRSC on my D16Z6'd 90 CRX Si, and had to do the same thing.

 

yeah i went to the radio shack here but they don't carry them in stock ne more for some reason.....they said i had to order them ....and they said its gonna take awhile cus of christmas time....oh well i guess i'll jus try and find it sumhwere else....thnx for the replies....

 

i jus got sum resistors from a computer store. there the 15kohms/.25 watt ones but i was wonderin if neone has done this could they pls post up sum pics of it so i can figure out how to do it....thnx
