Gauge Cluster problem!!

Gauge Cluster problem!!
I have a 91 dx hatch and I put a 91 hf cluster in my dx cause it has a rpm tach and it works but it doesnt light up. Why is that? I checked the bulbs everything is good! Anyone had this problem before?
