Can you do any front end conversion on an 85 crx, like say take the hood fends headlighs and junk from an 88 or something? Right now it has 86 headlights on it. So i am just curious if anyone knows anything.

As to can it be done... I don't know. But I know i've never seen it before. Anything's really possible with a skilled welder, really. As bolt on goes, no. It'll need fabrication on nearly every level.

 

i used to have an 85si!!

i loved that car. you can use parts from other first gens, but not an 88. the design was completley changed for 88 and up.

you should be able to find some retired first gens at parts yards if you really need some front end pieces. was it in an accident of some sort?

 

no i just like the way the newer ones look, its just a daily beater its got more rust than anything its a great pos
