in a YS1 trans i hear yes, cause they share the same gears as their Hydro counterparts. In a S1, J1,Y1, i am 99% sure thats its not possible.

thats what i was told as well. ys1 92-93gsr you can utilize the hydro gears. i believe there were rules to doing this. someone will chime in
