when im driving highway speeds sometimes the speedometer bounces around to 140 - 150 - passed the numbers - 0 - 30, all around.

cant use my cruise control because it keeps giving gas and not gassing.

any ideas?

sounds like some sorta ecu problem....sometimes the ecu will do crazy stuff like that when its going bad....but if thats the case, its usually more than one guage that acts up.... is that the only guage thats acting weird? since its a swap, id hafta guess that maybe you just have a loose wire or something.

it usually does it under heavy acceleration.

Sounds like your speedometer cable, your speedometer is mechanical......It is run by the VSS (Vehicle Speed Sensor) which sits in the top of the transmission, the ECU has nothing to do with it (not in an Integra anyway)! If not your cable check your VSS, it has a coax looking cable that goes into it on the top of your tranny near the firewall........It's more than likely one or the other..................

Try cleaning your speed sensor. Ive heard of problems like yours, and ends up being speed sensor. Its located on the transmission.
