up for sale is a REBUILT y21 hydraulic tranny from a jdm b16a3.

under 3k on new synchros.
ctr (civic type r) 3rd and 4th gear.
looking for best offer. no low ballers please

what was the point of installing CTR 3rd and 4th......they are the same

 

because the tranny NEEDED the rebuild. it wasnt like he took a tranny in perfect working order and ripped it apart to put thse gears in. if theyre the same then its not hurting anything...right

here is the gear ratios for both tranny's (and yes I know this junk off of the top of my head, very sad I know)

1- 3.230
2- 2.105
3- 1.458
4- 1.107
5- 0.848
R- 3.000

FD- 4.400

Del SOl had optional LSD in Japan
CTR came with LSD as a factory package

 

from what i understand this tranny has lsd?

 

not necessarily.....it was only an option. The onoly way to know if it is/was an LSD tranny is to look at the diff and see if it has a spider gear bar or not.

 

if it is a non-LSD tranny expect to get around 600 for it and if it has LSD expect to get around 800-900 for it

(that is only if it is in PERFECT shape)

 

its pretty much perfect its a fresh rebuild

you need to post pics of the tranny, case and a differential shot to prove that it is LSD

 

i have no digi cam. its at my boys house (cuz its his). if someone makes me a reasonable offer ill take pics.
