What spark plugs to run with high compression
you may want to try the iridiums, they are really strong plugs just in case you get a bit of detonation. But they are hard to find in heat range 7 from what I have seen. I don't think the platinum vs copper argument is worth paying attention to, I have never seen any gains by switching away from platinum plugs from any dyno testing I have done, the plats work as good as any. Personally I would try the Bosch F6DP, they work really well in high compression high heat applications. Some people may think these are cheap plugs , but they really work pretty nice, Larry Widmer swears by them too. Most importantly though, go to a smaller gap with whatever plug you choose, I would try .040"-.044" as a start, unless you upgrade to an aftermarket ignition. hth.

Depends if you want platinum or not.
Platinum : PFR6G-11 or PFR6G-13 (11 and 13 are just different gaps)
Copper : BKR6E-N-11 or ZFR6F-11
Just go 6 heat range. Seems to me that less than 12.5:1 and 6 heat range is fine.
If you really want.. I have ITR platinum and coppers in 7 range.. and other equivalent plugs in both 7 and 8 heat range in stock.
