Valve Removal???

OK I got 2 D16a6 heads sitting around, and I'm in the process of stripping them down pretty good. The only thing is, I can seem to get the valves/springs/retainers out of the head...

Anyone know how? Any help is appreciated

Damn bob, ever heard of a spring compressor? heh heh.
Here is a trick:
take a spark plug socket, and sit the open end on the top of the retainer. smack it with a hammer, and the retaining clips will pop out. Course, still gonna need a spring compressor to get them back in

Got me a spring compressor from the shop

Now I gotta go get the lil bastards out!
