i havent had any firsthand experience with it, but from what i was being told while inquiring about purchasing it, supposedly drops approximately 3-4 mph in each gear. Probly close to gsr gear ratio.

With the right slick sizing it definately should decrease your 1/4 times.

I beat on mine 4.7 pretty bad both road racing and just messing around on the street. Seems to be holding up great!

Just a warning though, I had to shave the inside of my tranny case to get it to fit because it's so much larger in diameter than the stock FD.

We are getting more 4.7 and 4.9 FD for the SOHC Hydro trans in January. We are still contacting the ones on the waiting list and there will be a few sets left once those are taken.

Please let us know if any of you are interested. ** VERY Limited Qty for this Jan batch. ** Next batch wont be until March/April

Do you have a 92+ hydro tranny? What rpm are you at on the freeway at 80mph? I believe its pretty close to a b16a tranny isnt it?

I don't understand. You are trying to sell it and you put down the product.

I can appreciate all comments regarding the product. What is yours?
We have used the SRR FD for many applications. Including a winning car in the HC series.
as well as high HP Drag cars. No problems.

I WAS selling it, notice how it says i'm not.

Then YOU tell me what is the whine that everyone w/ the SRR final drive has??? I never said it doesnt work, BUT it does NOT work properly. did you see the pic at the end of my forsale thread? tell me where is the metal thats being ground off going? Perhaps you don't realize your selling and using a poorly made part?

First of all, I wasnt meaning to say you were whining about it. I didnt look through the complete thread, so I didnt know your case.

Like I said, I appreciate all comments and thats good you shared it with us. We will for sure rethink the SRR FDs that are coming our way next month.
We will most likely with a different manufacturer instead of SRR.

when i said whine, i meant a metallic whine from the transmission.

i'm glad to hear that you will take this into consideration and perhaps stop selling their subpar final drives means a great deal to me and of course the Honda community.

this is one of those parts that corners definitly should not be cut on during production.

its not installation error and its not a fluid problem, its an SRR production problem. SRR is right up there w/ OBX and whatever other crappy companies there are.
