Default 1/4 mile DA

Okay guys I have a 92 LS with a B17 tranny and a ACT "AI3-XTR6" Xtreme Duty Clutch. I think the car is making 140 to the flywheel. I know its not alot of hp but it got torgue like well. I just wanned to ask how much would you give me at the track?

??? If your at least a decent driver, you should see around a high 15. Beating a stock Si I can see only if the Si driver sucks. I've raced a few when my DA was stock, and I would pull only if they sucked at driving. The better ones would stay even and creep away.

lol... 15.8-16.2 thats all a b17 can pull off? i can do that with my stock ls with basic bolt ons (2 1/4 piping, stock b17 header, and cheap *** intake that is probably causing loss in power) i'm pretty sure with a good driver you should at least pull low 15's to high 14's

ummmm,,,,,yea i think his car is pulling 140 to the flywheel, because thats what the ls motor gets stock, and i dont think that the tranny will increase hp it will just utilize the engine and accel. of the motor.

Stock he is running high 15's, with the b17 tranny low 15's...

And for whoever said he isn't making 140 to the flywheel, hush.

well styleteg ran like a 14.9 i think with i/h/e no ps and ac and minor weight reductions on the ls tranny so i think with a good drive high he could pull high, mid 14

i would say atleast low 15's if not high 14's

i ran a 16.1 with alot of room for improvement
that was in a 91 stock ls and the 91's have 130hp to the flywheels

ok.. sorry for the comment i made above lol. i didn't realize he was using a b17 tranny on a LS i thought it was the complete b17 motor and tranny. i still think he should be able to hit mid to maybe low 15's

if you have steelies w walmart tires, i'd go with ^^^

if you're rollin on good rubber, i'd give you a 15.5 with proper shifting and a good launch.

yeah that sounds about right 15.7 is the norm, but no lower than that even with a good driver, stock b18 pull about 16 flat with average driver. --*Gsr's about 15.4 stock.

yeah i guess you guys are right though.. didn't really put that much thought into how much the right basic bolt ons can make a difference.

yes I have a friend with the 92 ls and he ran a 15.76 1/4 stock except for a short ram intake which doesn't really help a whole lot. and no DA will ever see a 14 stock just with a b17 tranny.
