Best Integra Cams
I have a gsr and want to drop in some new cams. Which cams out there would give the most horses without being full race cams. And what r the best cams u can get for a b18
There is no "best" cam for the B18C1 besides the GSR cams. Those are the cams made for the engine, however, if you modify your teg then yes Cams would help out a lot.
You can't just drop in cams and except to see gains and good overall performance. You have to worry about what type of valvetrain your going to need to be able to handle the higher revs or which type of powerband your going to have. This means you need a tuning device for your cams, your going to have more power and your going to have a different powerband, so your going to need to hit a dyno and tune the car to operate in its full potential with the upgraded cams.
The Skunk2 Stage 1 cams like mentioned above are a good camshaft, its a moderately aggressive cams that'll give you decent gains. However, for the money you might aswell get some ITR cams which you could get away with using your stock valvetrain and you could see better midrange gains and actually benefit from them. You can find them for around 300-350 bucks used, if you can get yourself the 2000 or 2001 cams because there a tad bit more aggressive, nothing major though.
You should look at a header, cat and exhaust before you even think about cams. Also, what are your goals for the car and what type of income do you have. Because all motor definately isn't cheap, unless you can install your own parts.

if you want to be lazy and avoid the aforementioned steps in careful tuning and changing of your valvetrain, just get '00 ITR cams and drop them in. you can get more power by tuning them, and if you want a higher than 8100 redline you'll need the ITR springs, but you'll still get an increase w/out any hassle by just dropping them in.
