what is the best rpm for vtec with the buddy club cams? some cams like it high and some likes it lower than others. i got mys set at 4500 rpm, is that good? c/r is 12.1-1.

Every motor is different. Dyno is the best way to determine where to set your crossover.

I set mine at 6000, and the transition is very smooth. Too smooth actually.

higher lift, longer duration cams usually like the xover higher, because the engine is 'ingesting' enough air at these high speeds to actually make use of the large lobes.
