Cryo it after you balance the bottom end.

Also, you can pretty much cryo everything in the motor, including the block and head.

I'm up for a good fight.

Freeze 'em, then balance 'em. End of discussion, talk to the hand.

As for bearings... no cryo, but you can coat them.

http://www.polydyn.com

As for cryogenically freezing, any other company besides DEEP FREEZE? http://host58.ipowerweb.com/~deepfree/home.htm

All this stuff is pretty interesting. Anything we should NOT treat?

i know of people getting top and sides of pistons done from swaintech, gears in transmissions, but bearings I don't know.

The Calico link I put above looks like they sell you their own treated bearings (probably compensating for clearances), not sure if they have your application, you'd have to call them.

Call cryogenic processing companies like the one you linked and ask them if bearings can be done, I personally don't think I'd mess with them, they're supposed to be able to wear, not the rods.

Answer this: Does cryo changes the shape of the part?

Yes: Balance afterward.
No: Balance before.
