cryo treating crank...before or after balancing
i was thinking of cryo treating it first, then having balanced. just wanted some other opinions.
edit: anyone ever cryo bearings?

wouldnt you want to balance it first then streinghten it? rather then streingthen it then go grinding on it?

ill look into coatings also...but wouldnt that affect clearences?
cause this is going in a high boost h23 vtec. i dont feel like breaking a crank.

i know of people getting top and sides of pistons done from swaintech, gears in transmissions, but bearings I don't know.
The Calico link I put above looks like they sell you their own treated bearings (probably compensating for clearances), not sure if they have your application, you'd have to call them.
Call cryogenic processing companies like the one you linked and ask them if bearings can be done, I personally don't think I'd mess with them, they're supposed to be able to wear, not the rods.
