Default Are balljoints for 88-95 Civics the same?

I hjave a bit of a problem. While at work tonite my balljoint broke and my car is stuck where it will probally get towed if I wait until the morning. We tried pushing it but then then the wheel fell off to the side. I have a ball joint for a 92-95 Civic and I was wondering if it would work on a 1990. Also are they different depending on what side of the car they are on?

I'm reasonably certain they are the same from '88-up. I am 100% certain both right and left balljoints are identical.
