Default HELP CAR WON'T START!!

Hey I my car won't start for some reason I stick in the key and no lights or power and turn the key and nothing - it happened before and the lights and power would come on but when I turned the key it would click and die out. After the first time I just removed and reconnected the negative battery cable. Now I am stranded at school. I had this problem a little while ago, because I removed my alarm. The ingintion wire was connected to the alarm so I removed it and reconnected it to the stock wire. I also replaced my battery to a Optima Red top like 2-3 weeks ago. My friend is on his way to try and jump it. I am going to go check if it is the battery relay fuse. My friend at the shop said it could possibly be the alternator, but after searching it might be that starter. Need help gotta get the Prelude home, I don't feel like leaving it on campus.

Sounds like a dead battery.

If you get no lights when you turn the key, you dont have power.. dead batter most likely.

Starter and altenator have nothing to do with the car if you get no lights when using accessory. Tell us what happens when your friend helps you boost the vehicle.

I got it to start, I think it was the battery fuse (jiggled the fuse), but I am going to have to investigate this matter more.

Ok I finally had a day off to prep my car and clean it up again. I checked the battery terminals and aparently the positive(+) cable was almost gonna fall off. I think this was the problem I had a few days ago. So I guess next time I check the battery I should check both cables dummy me .
