Changing my Integra's A/C a-pipe, what do i need to know?
I'll be changing the A-pipe on my integra's a/c system today because it's leaking pretty bad and I'd like to know what I should know before I do this...

I'm pretty much thinking of unscrewing the pipe from both ends, putting the new one in, and then getting a R134a rechange system from autozone. Is it as simple as it looks? I have absolutely no clue on how the recharge works...could someone chime in? Thanks.

The part you're missing is evacuating the system before recharging. The recharge kits are sorta OK to add refrigerant to a system with a real slow leak.
But when you disconnect the pipe air gets in there. The air has to be completely removed (with a vacuum pump), otherwise it won't work real well.

Well, you could spend a couple hundred $$ on a vacuum pump...
Did you already buy the pipe? If so, some mechanics don't like you to bring your own parts. I guess I'd put in the pipe & then go to an AC shop for evac. & fill.
