AEM CAI please help me
i've just got my aem cai installed few days ago, and i feel basically nothing except my muffler sound deeper and around 3000rpm i can hear the air is actually sucking in.
but one question tho, i do feel that around 3000rpm to 5000rpm b4 vtec kicks in. my car feel a lot slower, is this normal ?? rpm seems kinda moving slowly and my muffler sound really loud(stock muffler) it feels like some thing is draging my car.
anyone know about this ?

The AEM Sucks! (In my opinion anyway)

Damn u did something wrong?? lol felt good gains over the stock ones dropped a few 10ths off too. yes u can feel the power ban better for the car and there is a gradual point in Vtec but look at a power curve for the Car u will see what your feeling. its stock like that and u will notice it more with the AEM CAI. Did u get the cold Air or Ram Air. I have the Cold air.

Did you remember to reset your ecu after installing the intake?
Here's a dyno plot of the AEM CAI vs. the injen CAI. vs. the (factory style) Icebox.
Notice the bottom end sacrafices with the CAI's as well as the lack of gains in the top end?
(Thanks Austin)

do i have to bring it to autoshop ?
from the pic it looks like AEM is not gain any power at all but loss power is it rite??
if so why is there so many ppl use AEM and consider one of the best intake ??
and please tell me which intake CAI is better for R

The gain or loss or whatever from the AEM is not substantial, you most likely can't feel the difference. It's probably your imagination. Most people install it for the sound.
To reset the ECU, disconnect the battery for 30 seconds. However, as far as I know, the ECU resets itself once in awhile.
