whers a timiing gun plug on z6?
there should be a aligator clip for the positive on the battery and then a clip that you clamp on to cylinder number 1 spark plug wire
theres no specific spot on a motor for a timing gun

What kind of timing gun is it? does it have a black clip, red clip and a larger clip?
You be able to just hook up the black clip to the negative on the battery and the red clip on the positive on the battery. And then that larger black clip goes to the #1 ignition wire. Then you just look down through the engine bay towards your crankpulley and aim the timing light at it.
