well i couldnt afford a better one so i got theb+m fpr and guage. so how shitty is this fpr. how long b4 it takes a crap

the only thing about that reg. is that if you put a bigger fuel pump on and it pushes the press. way up, (mine went from 40 psi to 56 psi just from putting a walbro high press. 255lph.) you cant adjust the press. lower than the factory spring .

well that sucks. it says that it can adjust from 25psi to 60. damn it.

 

ive got a walbro 255 and my pressure with the b&m is 44..i didnt modify it either.....

p.s. you can drill a smal hole in the middle of your stock fpr to lower pressures.

well i hope i dont have anymore problems. ive had to many already. so 44 is a good psi settings

 

well i have mine set at 41 psi static

 

yea if i can turn it down that far.

In some test Ive seen the b&M not being a 1:1 ratio regulator. Maybe I had 2 bad ones, but I'd recomend a non adjustable stock one over a b&m. I just think they are garbage, but once again my opinion doesnt matter anymore.

thnks that helped alot. now i see the light,lol damn i didnt no u needed to cut the top of the stock fpr to but the b+m fpr on.

 

Hey...if the B&M unit doesn't cut it for you...try using an Aeromotive unit. I have it on my setup (purchased from Summit Racing) and it works fine. It's adjustable from 35-70psi and it has a ratio of 1:1. It does cost more than the B&M but in my opinion it is a better component. Plus, it holds better pressure. Had mine for over a year now and not a problem....knock on wood!!

 

I hope that was sarcasm . Anywho, my cousin has a B&M and is having trouble getting his fuel pressure low enough, 255 intank btw...

well ive been every where looking for a .036 diameter drill bit and cant find one. would a 1/16 bit be to much. its the smallest i could find. ive been to home depot,lowes,and a parts store.

 

I got mine 2 years ago and still do what it is suppose to. My liquid filled guage went out before my B & M regulator.

You have a PM. Otherwise, you need to check the Dremel section for the small bits.

 

i looked at the dremmels,there is nothing that small

To find a drill bit that small, you have to go to a hobby shop. That's the only place that'll have them. You'll have to buy a Dremel accessory that'll allow you to hold a bit that small as well.

If you do drill it out, be sure not to do more than 0.035". I did mine more than that and it completely fucked up my fpr. It was totally useless. Just so you know, my tuner said that the "drilling it out" trick is a bunch of bullshit and that I should basically take theoldone.com out of my Favorites Good luck with whatever you do.

Too bad that drillnig it DOES work if you do it properly. Offset towards the bototm, and at an angle.
