I have a 94 4 dr. Accord LX with a stalled driver's side power window. The window is in the down position and will not travel up. Before becoming terminal, the window was demonstrating slower up travel. All other windows work fine.

I have checked the fuse - OK. I then bought (later returned) a stock replacement motor/regulator assy, plugged it into the existing harness - prior to attempting installation - and witnessed the exact same performance (none), the slide would move in the down direction, however, there was no action in the up direction. I then suspected the power window switch assembly, picked up a salvaged unit, quickly replaced it, activated the switch, and once again experienced the same condition. Since I believe the odds of the salvaged switch experiencing the same fault (the window on the salvaged vehicle was in the up position) as mine were extremely low, I'm now suspecting the harness connector leading in the switch. Does anyone have any experience/thoughts/suggestions on next steps? Thanks...

 

Open up the door and take a peak Look for a broken cable, the window off the track, or a fried regulator.
