what kind of i/h/e do you have? those cams are advertised to make 12-15 hp on there website, along with the port n polish it should be a little more, but on stock compression id hope for 15 hp best, if you havea good header and intake manifold you may pick up some more hp then that..... depending on the car/driver/tires/track conditions you should hopefully be able to lower your et. .5-.8 seconds... just my personal experience.....

Upgrading to the above mentioned head (Crower Stage 2 cams and valve train) along with Type-S pistons .25 over sized, 11:1 pistons, I made a solid 20+whp if that gives you any indication.

Man, you can't compare this at all to Nitrous. It'd cost you 5 bucks to gain 20whp w/ nitrous and $3k all motor.

Depends on what you want and what you want it for.

true that, but honestly

i give more props to all motor cars than i do to bottle fed cars...

cars that boost, *shrugs* i give them props too but if you can build a all motor car that eats bottle fed and boosting cars, heh..

2 things..
1- you have a lot of money :-P
2- took a lot of time

i give mad props to those all motor racers out there droppin the fast **** times with BEEEG HP :-D

i personally am going all motor, slowly pulling my parts together, to drop it all in at one time...

its what you want out of the car, and how you want to achieve it.

Just my opinion, but if you cannot afford to go all motor, you most likely cannot afford to go Nitrous. It's not exactly cheap, and it raises holy hell on your motor. If your not racing, just enjoy what you have, start saving, keep researching, and set a goal. If your 16 like you say, all you want to do is go faster, I know, but take your time. Going faster at 16 is not cheap, unless you have parents with deep pockets.

I know, I've taken this away from the point, but that is my point.

also remember a turboed 500 max hp 4 cyl car will be MUCH easier to drive around everyday than even a 350 hp N/A 4cyl car, but still be much faster at track day and whenever you need it. being 16 i would say a second car is out of the question too.

if you do go nitrous, make sure it cuts off before your rev limiter. otherwise start shoppin for new motors

if properly done (get a kit) a stock H22a can take up to a 75 shot safely, but only use it when you need to.

there is no reason for nitrous. save your money, because obviously

means that you wont be able to afford another car if for some reason nitrous messes you up.

good luck though, i hate nawzzz

nos kills engines.... n/a most honorable then comes FI... Dont mess with nos, most likely your engine is gunna go boom.. expecially at 16.

If you want speed then sell that car and get a z28 or gt that will satisfy your low budget speed needs.

nitrous kills engines when people don't know how to use it, or overuse it. i run N/A myself, but know people who spray on their drag cars. only seen one blow up, and it was cause something failed. but keep in mind these are custom set ups, so much more complicated too- more **** to go wrong.
