Is it broken or are you just asking whats wrong with it in that "WTF is wrong w/ it?!?" kind of way?

There's nothing wrong with it operationally... figureatively, however, is another story.

What I'm saying is that I appreciate the place but must there be a flash intro page, and must the damn thing change every week? It's like someone's ill-fated high school flash programming project gone awry. It's so difficult and combersome to navigate.

A forum dedicated to showing off members' STOCK CARS? How about this. I have a forum for that... it's called http://www.honda.com they do a better job.

Plus, there's more posting on matters of style than I can bear. I don't care about any of that stuff. JDM this, red carpet that.

Finally the member status drives me nuts. Paying for membership, access to the best group buys is a conflict for vendors who's market was just narrowed by who pays to be on a forum and who doesn't.

Nice people on there though, everyone seems friendly despite my best efforts to chastise, stir and dismember the group.

LOL... Now, why on earth would you be wanting to do that?

Considering that it's a marque-oriented forum devoted to one of the least popular Hondas in history, I think they do just fine.

Anybody w/a vBulletin based board is at a disadvantage when compared to ZeroForum, though.

Anyone who has been a member for a long while might know why I'm not so complimentary of it.

i actually find the site very usefull. dispite the useless graphics n all that crap its all fine. as for the platnum membership you get some stuff to access the site better in many differnt ways. and yeah some special vender deals but yeah that pretty much useless. but yeah could learn more about the car on the forum. dont get me wrong, but yeah if you got a EP then yeah you find it very usefull. only being that our cars are new in the market so there are many things to learn about.

EPHatch.com was where I used to spend almost all my time back when I had an EP...I thought it was a great place with great community...
Oh and if someone here needs a cheap ebay-bought SRI I still have one, it's yours for shipping cuz I have zero use for it now that I no longer own an EP3, and it's not worth the effort to resell it on ebay, since there's not much of a market for used ebay SRIs lol. I even got nice little metal umm binder thingys to hold on the hoses properly (forgot the right term) from home depot cuz the ghetto ebay SRI's hoses weren't very tight. So if you want it drop me a PM here I guess (do they e-mail you to alert you here? I'm too lazy to go check) or PM me over at EPhatch.com where I think I have the same username-I check that message box very infrequently though since I no longer own an EP but still stop in to check on what's been happening. If you really want the SRI really quick, I dunno. I guess you can e-mail me direct at: spoontech at selfesteemsex dot com and I'll figure out how much shipping is and crap. It'll probably be pretty cheap to ship it since there's no real need to buy insurance on a free item that was originally only worth like $20 anyway. And unlike the person mentioned below I'm not a scammer or crap like that, plus I doubt any scammers attempt to rip people off for $10 at a time(and if you doubt that I'm legit I can show you references). I just don't want to throw away a perfectly good SRI is all.

Sorry for veering so far off topic in my post with the SRI, but thinking about EPHatch.com got me thinking about when I tried to give it away there at local meetings but nobody locally would actually get off their butts and set up a meeting.

EDIT: just as I make a big long post about thanking someone here for alerting me to a scammer my status goes out of trial and I can post in the classifieds...considering I've been registered 494 days I guess the system was just catching up after I posted =P

ephatch was way better back when it was new because the eps themselves were new. Everyone who had one, which was like 100 people, was on there all the time and set up meets like once a month. Now it seems that a lot of people have sold their cars or just lost interest. Thats just what it seems like.

If you have a problem with everyone talking about JDM this or that just dont go into the JDM forum. Its pretty simple.

I know, I've been there since almost day one.

I think in terms of the vendor area, what I don't like is that there is a separate forum for every single vendor. It makes it kind of tough to just see what deals are offered.

I could come up with a ton of things that annoy me about that site now, but it doesn't do any good so I'll save my breath.

The off-topic **** bothers me the most. I dont care who votes for whom, but I hate to have sift through all the political bickering when Im searching a message board for EP3 info....and its moderators who start almost all the political bickering threads.

The best thing about ZeroForums... you can pick your topic first, then see the most recent posts. At ephatch if you want to see new posts, you gotta look at all of them, even the kill stories, photoshops, video games, and politics. It totally sucks and wastes my time, but I guess it wouldnt be so bad if 50% of the content wasn't off-topic.
