Where did you get all of the correct sized piping? It seems easy enough to me to buy all the main components separately
Turbo, IC, Wastegate, BOV, Manifold, Injectors, Fuel Pump, Hondata

But to get the smaller pieces like pipes shaped correctly at the correct length and the assorted fitting and hoses, where did you get them?

I usually find good deals with people selling the piping, but if I were to make my own I would def go through kteller.

For the exhaust I just took it to the exhaust shop. Too much of a chance for rattling or whatever on that side to try to do it myself.
For the charge pipes, I bought 3-4 2.5" U-bends, and then when I was at the exhaust shop (for the exhaust) I bought 5' or 2.5" straight piping from them. Take all of that home and start cutting up the ubends and tack welding were neccessary. You'll get it.

Wow thanks!!

I've read Honda-Tech and other sites for years now and this is first time I've heard of KTeller. Seems really good!! But now the hard part would be knowing what shapes to get and how many feet.

Your in luck I am exactly in that process right now. I am doing what everyone else said to do which is jcwhitney or kteller.com. I'm going to mock(sp) up the turbo, manifold, Wastegate, and IC. Then measure with a tape measure what exact pieces I need. Basically it's going to be a lot of U bends and some 90 degrees too. Yeah I'll have a little left over after it all, but it's a ton cheaper then a garage doin it (especially if it's 3" DP since most don't do that)!

I have a 88 CRX with LS swap and want to go turbo. I priced a complete kit from a sponsor here on h-t for $3500 which I think is really high (for me at least). I can buy the main pieces (turbo, IC, manifold, etc) seperately for ~$1500. And I'll probably buy the piping from either jc or kteller, as yall suggested.

But where do you get all the other pieces from (like all the hardware, gaskets, and silicon pieces)?

I have never done a turbo before, and I'm kinda overwhelmed by everything.

BTW, sorry to jack the thread

You will just need to buy a few u-bends and mock it all up before cutting. get a rough estimimate of the lenght that you need cut it a little long then shave off any extra. Thats the easiest way of doing it.

Clamps are good and cheap from the above link.

I got a lot of rubber elbows and 45 bends from:

http://dnaparts.com/hoses.htm
http://dnaparts.com/airtoair.htm

When you call them on the phone, tell them you want dealer pricing...they are pretty cool guys to work with and the prices are definitely right
