LSD for EP3 TypeR
Hi, im from Turkey. I have a 2004 Civic TypeR. I want to add a LSD. Mugen is too expensive i think, and i want to use original JDM CTR LSD.
I have 2 question. First will it fit to my car without modding other parts?
Second is the part number of this LSD. Because without the part number, Honda cannot understand what i want! What a fucked up situation isnt it

you have an 04 CTR and it doens have an LSD stock? that sucks. a stock Honda LSD will fit with no other mods, but unfortunately I dont have that part number.
If there is no car sold with an LSD as original equipment, the chances are you wont be able to go to your local Honda dealer to buy it, you would need to have it imported from somewhere that does.

He says he wants a JDM CTR LSD and you tell him that he should import it from somewhere else when he already knows he has to.
But, yes a JDM CTR LSD will fit in your tranny housing.

You can try buying one off of Ebay.com. Just do a search for "dc5" and you should find a few DC5R LSD's for sale. I just did a search and i found two listings for about $350 U.S. - not including shipping costs. (FYI: They will work with the EP3R transmission, if you didn't know that already)
