i installed my dcrh this weekend. the engine light would go off and on, now it just steadily goes on.

i have heard about the casper o2 sim fixing this, but question is, does it work all the time? i hear people saying yes and no, so now im confuse. how hard is it to install the o2 sim? for $80, is it worth it than to just leave your engine light on? would it affect my engine and will cause it to dis-function if i just leave my engine light on? its 3:30am and im still up, so now im crying for help. lol.

 

Nothing will happen. It will run a little leaner but it actually helps with performance. It does not run too lean where it would damage your engine, but enought to add more hp.

yeah thats normal because you are eliminating the cat.. just get k-pro or an 02 sensor and u will be fine... or u can just let it be it doesnt hurt ur car or anything its just if u do have a problem ur cel light will already be on if that makes sense

uh, no. It does not help you to run with the CEL on. And the guy that said the CEL from this situation (the secondary O2 sensor) makes you run lean and make more power is wrong . It actually prompts you to run richer. To be honest, the whole CEL from racing headers and test pipes issue is not proven. Some say it hurts performance, most say it has no effect at all. Either way, you need to get an O2 simulator to get rid of the CEL (www.casperselectronics.com)
