Emissions help needed *Long but need advice please help*
Aight here's the deal. I have a 91 OBD-0 Integra RS swaped in a 1st gen B16a a couple years ago, first time I took it into emissions with the swap, stock motor with Intake and exhaust as the only mods. Ran it with the B16 ECU and my evap canister line to the catch cans was disconnected. so I passed everything except the visual and my CO level was a 17.xx when the max you can have is a 12.00 here in AZ. next time took it down with an LS ECU in and hooked up the Evap Canister, passed visual, but failed CO again this time with only a 12.63. then the last time disconnected the evap canister, used the LS ECU and passed with a 6.0x on the CO.
So........
Two years later time to do it again, since then I have put CTR and ITR cams in the engine, DC 4-1 1-piece header, had a random tech test pipe which I took off and put a cat back on ffor emissions, and bumped the exhaust up to 2.5" from the 2.25" it was last time.
Well I got another LS ecu from a friend, put that in ran a blind hose off the evap canister and had the cat on, took it down ran it and WOOOOOOOAHHHHH!!!! CO level was at 59.55 thats right FIFTY NINE well needless to say thats way over 12.00. something was up with the ECU I used cause it was acting really wierd. just pouring fuel I had just filled my tank before I put it in, once it was in I did a total of 50 miles of driving and went through 1/4 tank of gas. I would have done better with the B16 ecu in.
Ok now that all the **** is said. I have had this problem for the past few months that it seems like I have some sticky injectors or something up with the ignition system when I cruze above like 60mph or like 3250 RPM and hold the throtle still it will sometimes bog like the injectors are starting to drip fuel instead of mist and it is building up and not burning off and once I give it some more throtle it will go back to normal. so I have to kinda fluxuate back and forth giving a little gas then letting up a little so I dont accelerate. The other thing I have a theory it could be is my ignition is not sending a hot enough spark when I am keeping the throtle steady at that speed/RPM and is not fully burning the fuel off causing that bog to happen.
The other thing it does is when I jump on it, you know getting on the freeway on-ramp or what not and lay into it, once it gets up into VTEC and such it just starts shootin black smoke out the exhaust. Again I believe that is because of an excess of fuel at that point and it is burning all the excess and not utilizing it, hence why i have been getting really shitty gas mileage.
So what could be doing this. I have replaced the Dizzy cap and rotor, new spark plug wires, new pvc valve, new map sensor, new tps sensor. I have to put new plugs in cause Im sure by now these ones are fouled out. I put some prestone injector cleaner in with this last tank of gas. So do you think it is my injectors are just junk now or maybe that I need a new ignitor for my distributor? Please help me figure this out I have been thinking of anything I think could cause it to act like this and Im running out of ideas.
thanks,
Jon

talked with a friend of mine and we have narrowed it down to mainly being the Dizzy that is what is giving me the bulk of the problems. so if anyone has a 1st Gen B16, LS 90-91, or an 88-91 Civic Si distributor for sale I may have to work out a deal with ya on that. email me at vardoulika666@hotmail.com
thanks again,
Jon
