00' GSR ECU (P72) in 98 civic?
aight guys in buying parts for my lsvtec i aquired a 00' gsr ecu i was just curious what would happen if i hooked it up to my car stock with the SOHC VTEC still in place (would this even be possible?)

It won't fit in the first place...OBD2a and b ECU connectors don't mix very well.
96-98 Civic = 98-99 Teg: OBD2a
99-00 Civic = 00 Teg: OBD2b (perhaps 01 too, but I only have the 98-00 Teg Helms ETM)

...like EE_Chris said, you won't be able to use the 00 GSR ecu in your car, unless, you get an OBD2a->OBD2b ecu jumper harness (which I sell).

also, you'll have to get the IMMobilizer removed from the 00 GSR ecu if you really want to use it in your car, otherwise your car will not start.
