I know it's a B18C1 but I figured I'd ask the C5 guys anyways.Please look at the pic. The blue plastic tube on top of the intake manifold. What is that and what should it connect to? I've seen other GSR manifolds and there is a tube connected to it, I'm trying to figure out where that tube goes and is it bad if I keep it disconnected.

 

Should go to the charcoal canister. Its the evap purge solenoid

 

I run a 95 GSR ecu and I throw no codes. Is there going to be any negative side effects to this hose not being connected?

 

Evap Purge COntrol Solenoid Valve. OBD2 manifold?

It affects smog and you won't get codes, you may get poor gas mileage though . . .

 

Damn is it dirty in there!

 

I know I know. It's gonna be a spring project.
