you either need a 0bd0 pr3 or pwo or get a obd0--->1 conversion harness and get a obd1 ecu i have some obd1 ecu if needed and can get the harness for it.

no, thats not the right way....and you wont save money.
non vtec ecu will not run vtec...doh and if you use vafc for vtec fuel maps timing will still be off.
you can use your stock harness though, just add vtec wires and knock(if applies)

i would say convert to obd1, get a p28 wich are cheap and chip it for dohc

really a vafc won t do the job?
is that why theres so many guys running afc hatck?
is that why dnr made over 225 hp running stock 240cc injectors and a vafc plus chip ecu with skunk program with a gsr motor on stock bore!!!

yea go ahead and pay $150 4 a p28
then a jumper harness $120
and a dist $250

or u can do what my buddys do
run a chip pm6 with a turboedit program
chipping pm6 $50
a msd rpm window switch $80

by the way i got tune programs 4 ls-vtec with stock ls pistons all motor and nitrous
(4 nitrous i have 80 shot direct and all single nozzle programs)

please stop blabbing..

what does afc hack have to do with anything?
what your buddies do might work for boosted cars.

you say skunk 2 prog., well that's for a vtec ecu.
timing will be still off....vafc wont compensate for ig. timing that the mid lobe needs.you need a vtec ecu for that; or have one transformed to one.

if u run a chip program from turboedit
u can advance timing just like skunk program, mugen ericks racing and others
and turboedit is not only made 4 turbo
its called turbo edit u can run allmotor with it

if u quit being an *** u will learn something!!!

dude, i know what turbo edit is..
yes you can control timing but its still not the the same as running a vtec ecu; 1 fuel map vs. 2 fuel maps; 1timing map vs.2.
