Super VAFC and Nitrous
I Have a 90 accord with A h22a in it, I also have a skunk 2 chipped ecu with advanced air to fuel advanced ignition timing no speed limiter and redline at 9800rpms. I also have a set of adjustable cam gear. I want to get a super vafc so I can get it tuned with my nos set up Im trying to get at least 270whp out of this motor. I don't have the money for turbo and everyone down here has it. So what I am asking is has anyone done this type of set up and how much horse power can you get out it.
i dun think that stock engine creates any power over 7,200 rpms'..... also if you dont have the money for turbo and you want 270whp... the only way i see that happening is blowing yourself up with nitrious, and your engine will commit suicide shortly after.... save the money and build the car right... in order to get 270 expect to pay over 3,500 - 7,000. Spend your money wisely.
also, if you do go forced induction, defently get rid of that advanced timing, itll kill you.. VAFC doesnt create that much power at all.. just aids in tuning... id go Hondata if I were in your situation.
