Where to order Mobil 1 0W30 or 0W40?
Trending Topics
I've heard of some people using this oil weight as a flushing oil. Drain the old oil, pour some of this in, run the engine for like 30 seconds - 1 minute, drain the 0W-30 completely, pour in some fresh 5W-30. Don't know about the validity of this though.
It's actually not for me. I run 5W30 standard oil. Not convinced yet to run a synthetic. I change my oil just about every month. My coworker is buying a new Porsche 911 and Porsche recommends 0W40.
One thing that is interesting to note about the Mobil1 0W30 oil is that it has a higher flash point than the 5W30, 2nd to the 10W30 for all the "normal" weight Mobil1 engine oil here in the USDM. Check out the product info sheet at http://www.Mobil1.com for more information...
