Default axle question... yes i searched...

ok im posting this for a buddy and yes i searched but his exact question wasnt answered so....

He has an obd1 b16 in his 90 crx si, car runs great but his axles are messed. He has a ys1 cable tranny and a 1st gen b16 half shaft with 92 GSR axles. Is this correct or should he be using a 90-93 integra halfshaft? Thanks for any and all help.

Yes most people use the 90-93 integra intermediate shaft and axles.

So do you think this problem is solely because he has the 1st gen b16 half shaft? He swears all cable tranny half shafts are the same, lengths and everything...

The cable y1 half shaft from the jdm civic/crx sir is a different length than the cable integra halfshaft. What exactly is wrong with his axles?

Y1 shaft is too long.
