Default Sport Shift ECU in NON Sport Shift CAR!!!!

What happens if you put a F20 B ecu with sport shift into a 97 accord ex that does not have sport shift. I am doing a h22a auto swap so I was wondering if I can use the ecu even if it has a sport shift on it?
thanks
bob

The sport shift will be on your car though.....the sport shift is in the tranny.

But if I dont have a sport shift tranny will it affect the car? So does that mean I can use it without any complications?

You are going to keep the tranny and just swap the blocks?
Are you going to try and swap the ECU before the block?

Edit: I don't think that the ECU will control the Transmission properly if it isn't for that model......in other words...swap the tranny as well or get a custom ECU.
