I am wondering about a 88 si and a 90 si transmission, Because when i had my 88 transmission on my sohc vtec motor it seemed like the gear ratios are so close. but when i put a 90 si transmission it didnt feel the same so i hope you guys can help me out and let me know which 1 should i pick or let me know that specs on it.

 

Si trannys have the same gear ratios 88-91. Likely your so called 90 Si tranny is really a DX.

 

did u have different wheels as in wheel size on them? that would change ur final drive

 

hey balistic....your 88 si tranny hawls compare to JT's tranny! would love to have that in my car. so when you getting your car back from....ehem!! you know what i mean.....hehhehehehhe. i spoke with auntie Brenda and she told me all about it.
