Trying to decide what to do about an SI..
I dropped by the honda dealership, and they had a 2004 si for $14,900 brand new. Took it for a spin and I liked it a lot, never having driven one before.
The thing is I drive an ls teg with about 110k miles on it, car drives great. It's fully paid off, and the only expense is my insurance payment. I don't really "need" a new car, but after my down payment, and trade in...my payments will be like $180/month for 48 months on the SI...this isn't bad at all, and the insurace quote I got is less than I'm paying now.
So I'm torn, I would like a new car, but I'm not sure if I should get it or not. I mean the teg could technically have some problem in the near future...and I would need to get a new car anyway...but too late to get the 15k sticker price.
I guess the point is I'm trying to save for law school next fall, my current car drives fine, but I can afford the payments on the new one, and should have it paid off after 2 years.
Need some direction hear fellas...thanks in advance.
