Default jun 2 exhaust cam vs 98 spec itr exhaust cam

mike k in his posts on the cams thinks these are very similar...does anyone have any numbers to back this up...i talked with a shop and they said the jun exhaust cam has a little more lift and that the lobes are bigger...is that really going to give me any more hp...

Well, the reason I did it because the DURATION isn't a whole lot greater than the stock ITR exhaust cam (or so I was told) ... that's why I didn't think it was worth the extra cash for the jun2 exhaust cam.

As you saw in the charts, just by adding the jun2 intake cam.. it made a huge difference over the 00 ITR intake cam...

i'd like to try the jun2 exhaust cam in the future just for the hell of it.

I was told the same thing. The performace the Jun II exhaust cam will bring does not outweigh the cost. I kinda liked the idea of only having to spend the cashish for one cam but now I'm going with the Jun IIIs.

Has anyone noticed that the Toda A intake cam is almost identical to the stock itr?

ITR profile
INTAKE lift - 11.5 mm,duration - 240 @1mm
EXHAUST lift - 10.5mm, duration - 235 @1mm

Toda A's
INTAKE lift - 11.6 mm,duration - 240 @1mm
EXHAUST lift - 11.2mm, duration - 240 @1mm

The ramp angle that the valves open I'm sure are different.

Also, the primary lobes on the A's are bigger... which is why they are stronger than ITR cams when off VTEC.

I believe your duration figure on the A's intake is wrong (250 instead of 240)
Toda A's
INTAKE lift - 11.6 mm, duration - 250 @ 1mm
EXHAUST lift - 11.2mm, duration - 240 @ 1mm

ITR:
INTAKE lift - 11.5 mm, duration - 240 @ 1mm
EXHAUST lift - 10.5 mm, duration - 235 @ 1mm
