Skunk2 Cams turbo charged
Hi.
I'm new here so i'll try to make it brief.
I have a Civic HB with a B16A2 engine and I bought Skunk2 stage 2 cams with Skunk2 valve Springs and Skunk2 cam gears, now i'm thinking of going turbo.
I know i have to build my bottom end but i don't know if my cams are good for the tubo setup.
Should i stick with these or change them? If i do have to change them wich ones are better?
Tkx

well, according to skunk2, there is too much overlap from the NA cams. they do have special cams for turbo engines and they provide max power up to 20 psi. I bought stage 1 cams and skunk2 told me that they would hurt performance more than help it, so imagine what stage 2 cams would produce. I've heard from some people though that they have stage 1 cams in their turbo engines and it helps out a little. I would switch them out though if I were you. do things right the first time so you don't waste time and money...know what I mean?
