Good luck in this forum. Most people in here hate on anything that isn't their style (which is the sackriding JDM craze at the moment). I really wish I could help you out but I really know nothing about body kits.

What I'm sure the thread creator will find funny is he doesn't care about your opinion on whether you like it or not. These days it seems hard to answer a question without someone throwing in their unnecessary opinion... of course, I'm no exception.

Since the thread on EL on a 6gen civic I have been racking my brain of the site name that would have this, at this moment I still cannot remember that site which would have this as well.

as long as you don't do the tail light and headlight conversion, and you pay top dollar for a body shop to do the work, wide body EG's looks pretty nice...

Check ebay, although I've checked and had no real luck. I'd try like hondatuning or google for a website and let us know. Return of the CL headlights! ANYONE that knows someone that has doen the conversion or more pics, PLEASE let me know. My friend is gonna do this next month to his 94 coupe.

Try the appearance forum and ebay.<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by Ricey McRicerton &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">Good luck in this forum. Sack riding craze? I appologize for liking the plain, yet easy on the eyes, apearance of an un-adulterated(sp?) looking car the way it left the factory.

now if he had the stock tails and headlights in and they had a slight smoke to them i think it would good good. im no fan of widebody civics but that side view looks pretty damn good to me. but the CL headlights and prelude tail lights ruin it.

We can appreciate the fact that all you do is engine modifications... You do only do engine modifications right, if not... well you can imagine what I would say.

Considering it's illegal in most states to have tires that extend out past the wheel well, I don't see why so many people are against the widebody. You can legally put wider wheels/tires on your car. Wider tires = larger contact patch = more traction, especially on startup. I personally consider widebody kits a function mod more than a fashion mod (partly because they look butt ugly )

And sorry, no answer to your question here. If it were me though, I'd just flex some sheetmetal or aluminium and weld it on your current panels.

If the wheel extends out past the wheelwell, mudflaps or gaurds are required. Why would you install a wide body kit and have it painted when all you have to do is get the factory mudgaurds to make it legal?

Are you sure its just the mudflip? My friend is big into Jeeps and was complaining that he had to get a smaller sized tire unless he got extended fender flares. I thought it was a side impact issue, I could be very wrong though, just repeating what I heard.

It's what I was told when a cop pulled me over for my tires sticking out. Plus all the lowriders out here all have small mudflaps that are basically useless since they don't cover most of the tire. I asked them why and they told me the same.
