Default help!! swapped a b16 for a b18 question...

Ok, got the b16a out of the car and dropped the b18a... put everything back to place except for the few extra wires from the vtec and knock sensor and tried to start the car but it wont start... im getting spark, but the fuel doesnt seem to be coming out, i can smell it when i crank it over but no start... is the wiring for the distributor the same thing as the b16a non obd? or is there any extra wiring that i might have to do?? the car was a 89 DX - wired to b16a, and now trying to make it run with the stock 91 b18a..
i need help..
thanks

what ecu are you running, if it is non obd u would be required to have the injector resistor. check you fuel pump relay and make sure the fuel rail is not cloged. if by some chance the b18 was swapped into a newer car before they could be using newer injectors. check these things and post more info please.

well i am running the non obd ecu, even with the b16a, i still kept all the non-obd... i will be using the 90-91 pr4 ecu. i had the non obd pr3 with the b16.

And yes i went to less horsepower because i need to take the car to the california state ref...

oh yea, i will be parting out the b16a, if anyone interested in parts let me know, i prefer pick up.. located in the bay area...

Check all your grounds, especially your thermostat ground.

b series is b series...

90% of it will be the same as the crx, and the rest will be pretty close to the b16 setup u had. For a b18 u may have to only use one wire ( one of the four from b16) like secondary o2.

All other sensors, injectors, etc should be plug and play from crx.

you should be able to swap between a pm6, pg7, pr4, pr3, and pw0 to run ur car regardless...cuz they're all mpfi and obd0...it will just throw the vtec codes if you use the pr3 or pw0. so yes...the wiring is the same...

ur getting fuel and ur getting spark...
timing or grounds is my best bet...
this might be dumb but are your plug wires in the right location?
