Default Newbie Qs here Please....

I tried looking these up in "Search" but didnt find any specific info so here goes...

1) How do you classify the generations? Is 98 a 5th gen or 6th?
2) I currently have the 2.3 ltr VTec but has been thinking of doing the swap for a V6 to give it some more kicks (Orig V8 Camaro Z28 owner here and would like more punch with my daily driver)
3) If I do opted for a V6 swap from a newer Accord is it straight forward just dropin and go or is it a pretty tedious task? I'm planning on getting a full donor car with a V6 engine & Manual Tranny...
4) I'm looking for a bang for the buck suspension upgrade just make the ride more tolerable when doing the twisties... what brand should I look into for these cars?

Thanks.

1) A 98 is a 6th Generation. The 5th Gens. were 94-97's.
2) No Idea

Youre going to want an H22 swap from a Prelude, not a V6. V6s are basically impossible without lots of money. An h22 gives you 190 hp (200 if JDM) versus the stock 150, so it's a good upgrade. With basic boltons you'll have a fast grocery getter.

Some basic suspension upgrades:

Lower the car (Eibach, H&R are good spring brands, TEIN and Ground Control are good coilover options)
Strut bar for the front tower
Sway bar from an Acura TL-S with end links.

Read the 'basic guide to accords' above and it'll answer all your questions, good luck!

First things first do not waste your money or time on a V6 swap. In the end you will just give yourself a bigger headache. Second do as accordselux said for the the H22 setup. Alot more fun and u can still tell people you have a stock 4cyl accord.
