Hey, I'm looking into upgrading my bulbs to something that looks very close to HID (5000k+) without spending too much money on the actual HID kit. I want the blue/purple look which bulbs should I get? I heard PIAA sparks are good. What else.... also would higher temp bulbs melt my headlight housing? Any input would be appreciated.

Its supposedly the Japanese equivalent of PIAA, but cheaper (40 or so?) Check on ebay. I dont think theyll melt anything, as long as theyre the same wattage.

 

by the time thoes rice bulbs burn out and you replace them 3 times you might as well have done a hid retro fit.
