i am currently working on a 95 Automatic LX, and I am converting to 5 speed. I was wondering if anyone knew what wiring changes needed to be made. That is the only thing holding me up. I just purchased the EG-AT tranny mount that I needed and I need some wiring instructions. If anyone can help I would gladly appreciate it. Thanks Guys (and girls)

i appreciate the help, but it doesn't tell me exactly what wiring changes need to be made.

 

someone correct me if im wrong but cant u just get the manual engine bay harness and the manual ecu and call it a day or is that only 96-00 ?? cuz i just did my 97 dx auto to manual and its running great.

 

I did my conversion early this year and all i did was leave the car in park the whole time with the auto gear selector. for the reverse lights im gonna try putting the gear selector in reverse and if it works ill just connect the two wires together and its solved,im 99.9% it will work

 

it does work i took the two thick wires on the plug where the shifter is , thoses were the Nuetral safety switch, once thoses are connected you can start the car. but i am not sure what colors the reverse lights are.once you splice them together you will have reverse lights................
