basically....a lot of the the LS/GS owners either boost or do lsvtec. Personally, if i had an LS with the LS trans, i'd definately save up and boost the hell out of it!
A lot of idiots boost their cars
I suggest maybe some ITR rear LCAs and a good quality set of coilovers
or hell, get some ITR rear LCAs, ITR suspension and a good quality set of tires like eagle F1 GS D3s...

if boost is not an option and, and ur gonna stay NA, then drop the LS tranny for a b16 tranny. u will get a whole lot better acceleration. it will cost about $500-600. If ur not gonna LS/vtec it, with the extra money, get urself some cams and valvesprings and retainers. run u about another $500. in my LS, i have Crower 62403 stage 2 cams with crowe springs and retainers. i got my cams, springs and retainers for $500. im waiting on a b16 tranny with ACT 12lb flywheel and exedy clutch! should be a pretty decent setup.

well im not too sure if he was going more for asthetics or performance. the tires and springs will give u some performace but to get the most outta ur car HP wise, then do what the guys above mentioned. go boost, LS/VTEC, or build up that LS engine (this is what im doing). i just wanna get the car into the mid 14's. i already have I/H/E, MSD igniton, new plugs/wires (not HP adder, just HP regenerizer lol), APEX-i SAFC, CROWER 62403 cams valve springs and retainers, SKUNK2 cam gears. soon b16 tranny and the works and then maybe a small 40 or 50 shot!

Adjustable cam gears are worthless on basically stock motors, especially one with stock deck heights
Light modders really dont need to **** with adjustable LSA...
if he were doing high comrpession, toda Cs and a hondata... thats different...

i would agree here and go with the suspension route (although i would definitely throw an ITR rear sway in there). it would be hard to dip into more serious mods with only $1000 since he already has the basic bolt ons

It depends on what you want to do. Go fast, look good, both? My advice would be to not spend that 1000 you have. Save it, search this board for a few weeks and see what other people are doing, what sounds interested, etc. If nothing really strikes you, just keep your car stock. For me, I wanted to go turbo because it interested me. Don't just go out and spend 1000 just to spend it. Research, time, and patience will save you $$$ in the long run.... You already have I/H/E. Now i'm not trying to be an ***, but if you did not buy those parts, you'd probably have about 2000 to spend right now and you could piece together a pretty damn good turbo kit.
Put the $1,000 in the bank until you read more A LOT more. Decide on a route you want to go, set goals for yourself, set goals for what you want out of the car.
since he is asking the cheapest mod for 1000 we shouldnt telll him to boost because he doesnt have enough money, i would say for 1000, i would work on either, tranny (b16), valvetrain (cams, springs etc.) or suspension (i suggest omnipower). but most of all just pick for yourself.

I say get an itr tranny and sell your LS tranny. If you install it yourself you will have cash left over</TD></TR></TABLE>

Piece a turbo setup, or buy a kit.. Save up, it's WELL worth it.
