WTF is going on? I need some serious help! Pics inside!
Aiite I finally had to change the front brakes on my 91 integra. I have some serious problems. I bought about 3 sets of brake pads having to return them everytime. For some reason the caliper bracket is not the right one and I cant seem to figure out from what car this came from. The previous owner didnt even mention this to me!
Anyway they also have the wrong bolt for the caliper to the bracket. It seems a bit to short as well as stripped at the end. I had to shave the head and hammer it in and give it a few turns before it held on. Of course this is temporary cuz its only holding maybe 2 to 3 teeth from the bolt untill tomorrow. I'm so fed up with this crap. Anyone know what caliper bracket this is so I can get the right pads?
Rusted pad is obviously the old one and next to it is the new one. You can also see the short bolt. I dont even think its the right bolt. Which pad am I supposed to get? Looks like a civic pad but what year?

Here is the pic of the bracket as well. I guessing this is a civic bracket mated to a integra caliper?

This is what its supposed to look like.(Pic taken from G2IC)

My final question is, where can I get the proper bolt for the caliper bracket? I'm so stressed at this guessing game I hope you all can help me out. Thanks for your time!

BTW, only the bottom part of the caliper had a bolt. The top portion didnt have a bolt and was sealed if that helps identify it.
check this out....looks like your brakes are for a 97 civic lx....http://www.partsamerica.com/Pa...Set=A
hope that helps....good luck!

88-00 civic lx pretty much take the same pads except in a few yrs the brakes are diff depending on if its a 4door, 2door, 3door or w/or w/o abs.......if you look up 97 civic lx you should get the correct part # each time w/out the parts person asking you a bunch of other questions like if its 4d,2d, 3d or abs. thats what it looks like from here anyways!
I bought 88-00 civic lx/dx brakes. They look like the correct one judging by the look. Its pouring outside so I can change them or see if they fit but eyeing it, it looks to be the correct one. Thanks for figuring it out. Now for the second question, anyone wanna help me out?
