pics of my homemade amber/yellow corners + bumper

sprayed my lenses over the weekend... total cost $7.00
yellow stained glass paint.

what do you guys think?

Yellow

u should of painted it amber or dark orange. It came out clean though nice job

Now if you got JDM fogs they wouldnt look completely out of place!! Get some sidemarkers and do them yellow to that might be cool

It looks ok, only thing is that the look is short lived. That colour will fade much lighter over only a single summer in the sun.

hope you put a good amount of clearcoat on them cause it can fade in a couple months

After two summers mine looked terrible, they do fade quite a bit, and once it's faded it's not real easy to get all the old paint off to redo them again. I probably won't do it again, but it sure did look nice for about 6 months.

I was going to expirement with painting some cheap clear corners I got a hold of, but no where I go has anyone heard of stain glass paint. Not hobby stores or anything. No one has it! I live in North Texas, who knows where to find amber stain glass paint and clearcoat??????????

i like mine a lil better... did u buy yellow or orange and not put enough coats on... mine were yellow but after like 10 coats they look like this..

i used yellow too...just put a few more coats and it will go amber..then clear coat...get the UV protectant one...works wonders

i didn't want amber ... i wanted yellow so yea thats whats going on w/ that...

i did 3 shots of duplis color clear coat i had laying around so it should last at least 6 months...

i was thinking about buying some "jdm amber corners from eBay but this seemed faster... i still might get those later on, but couldnt find the bumper lenses to match..."

the bumper lens look good, the corner markers stand out like a fat chick at the beach. doesn't look right...
