Default exhaust over left (driverside) rear LCA?

anyone try custom piping over the left lca instead of the right lca?

there's just as much room over the left lca as the right lca. i have an EF and if i can run a can style muff on the left...1. i wont have a low hanging muff, 2. i would have maximized flow, 3. it would still be on the left to match the bumper. only problem is that there is that the gas tank fill up pipe is there. i dont want to heat it up and cause a problem.

Hmmm...I dont quite understand your first 2 points on why you would need to relocate your muffler to the left side. If there is just as much room in both locations how would that change the height of your low hanging muffler? Couldn't you just shorten the hangers on the right side? How does that maximize flow by locating the muffler to the left? I think it would be a waste of time in my opinion.

its an 88-91 civic. so the factory set up is a transverse mounted muffler and not a longitudinal like the 92+ civics... does that clear it up?
