I just got a really good job and can finally afford one but im having trouble finding it. What are some good sites i've tried cars.com autotrader.com ebaymotors.com what else is there? I want a black 2000-01 r with low miles and stock but id need to buy from a dealer cause i have to finance so any help would really be appreciated. Thanks

 

Best thing is to keep visiting H-T...there are at least a couple a month that go up for sale. You can get one from a private seller, but you'll need to get everything squared away beforehand. Since it will be much harder to find exactly what you're looking for from a dealer, I suggest you start visiting your bank to work things out with them. Chances are you will get what your looking for much sooner (and probably cheaper) if you deal with a private party. Good luck!

 

Why can't you just go to a bank and find your own financing>!?

btw you dont need one at a dealer.. simply find a car that you need.. get all the info, make,model,year,miles, vin #, plate #, etc... etc.. call the bank tell them you want an auto loan.. tell them how much down you have.. they will check your credit and most of the times they get back to you the same day.. i.e. when i financed my hatcback i called and in 3 minutes was approved. Then you give the seller like 500 bucks to hold it, and tell him what branch to meet you at in 3 days or so.. bank will prepare the check both parties meet at the branch.. you sign a contract get the keys and good luck with the car.. the seller gets a check and a done deal its sounds a bit complicated but its very simple

 

Yea I would but I have no credit at all im 18 plus i already have a loan out on my crappy civic and it was hard talking my parents into that $4200 loan. I really doubt the bank is gonna give me a 22k loan having no credit whatsover, is there any really quick way of getting credit??? Help I really want an R

 

I don't get it?! First you say you have a nice paying job and you CAN afford an ITR...then you say you CAN'T>!?

You need to find out if a bank will approve you first. Go and try to get pre-approved first before you even go window shopping IMO.
