Will a 88 CRX SI tranny fit onto a 89 CRX SI?
My tranny went out for my 89 CRX SI. I'm planning to buy this 88 CRX SI tranny but I don't know if it will fit. The guy doesn't know too. I've heard that 88-89 have the same tranny, and the 90-91 has a different one. I don't know. Please help
No, the 88 is the outcast. I believe you have to use the 88 flywheel and clutch to make it work, not sure what else though.

88 and 89 Si use the same flywheel - you need 88 clutch disc

Yup.. With either a 88-89 flywheel..
The only difference between the 88-89 trannies is the spline count on the input shaft..
