del Sol front end on a 1995 civic coupe?
Just curious if anyone knows what it would take to instal a del Sol front end on a 1995 civic coupe, i know i need all the obvious ****; hood front bumper cover, and both fenders, plus headlights, and turn signals. How hard would this be to do, and is it possible? Direct bolt on swap?
For those of you who are wondering why in the hell i would want to do this, i just traded in my del Sol for the civic, and i kept my fenders, kamanari hood, and wings west agressor front end, put the sol back to stock, i got a higher trade in for it that way. I just got out of the navy and im doin the family thing now, got to tote around tha old lady and my son, couldnt do that with just 2 seats.
BTW, im new, so dont be to hard on me.
Thanks, Tim

Well, it CAN be done, just not cheaply. The cowl area is different between the Sol and EG. You have to take a fender from each (4 total) and match/cut/weld.
Someone on the darksol BBS board put a civic nose on a sol over a year ago. Cost was pretty high also. So high you can get a LS swap cheaper!

I think it would like hideous. I think the Integra front end would look better.
I think so too. Also, if you were gonna go that route, might as well consider JDM teg front end.

I agree with that. There was this one HB in superstreet a couple months ago. It was a reddish color, and had the jdm front end, with a intercooler, and it look sweet.

Ok, so since you have a del Sol with a civic front end, that means i can put my del Sol front end on my civic, right? I would like to think so, and the Sol with the civic front looks clean, so why wouldnt it work the other way?
ok, explain something to me, if I already have all of the del Sol parts except for the headlights, and turn signals, how is that a waste of money? And I dont know about the rest of you, but i enjoy workin on my cars, i consider it a hobby, so how would it be a waste of time? oh yea, thats right, your daddy buys you all the **** you have on your car, and has it installed at a shop somewhere cause youre to incompitent to do it yourself.
I may be new, but thats no reason to f*%@ with me, i actually do know a thing or two, or mabey my ASE certification, my MECP certification, and my AA degree dont really mean anything, but if thats the case then i guess the fact that ive been working on cars since i could hold a wrench has to say something
as for those of you who actually tried to help, thank you, i really appriciate all of your input
